ABS-CBNNews.com reports that, as previously announced, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) closed Leveriza St. corner Quirino Ave. in Manila around 6 a.m. on Wednesday for the filming of The Bourne Legacy.

The report noted: "Security was tight around the area. Aside from police, private security personnel was also guarding the area. Village officials and watchmen were also busy managing the crowd."

The report also revealed that "around 400 residents were given bit roles-as passersby-for the movie" and were reportedly paid "around P500 per day."

One of the film’s stars, actress Rachel Weisz, was spotted on the set.
