PH children’s show Batibot is a finalist in the 2012 Prix Jeunesse International Festival

Interaksyon.com reports that TV5’s Batibot is one of the finalists in the "Up to 6 Years Old Non-Fiction" category in this year’s Prix Jeunesse International Festival. The bi-annual event pays homage to TV shows all over the world that are programmed for children and the youth. Entries come from Europe, North America, Latin  America, and Asia. The festival will be heldin Munich, Germany from June 1 to 6.

 

The report quoted festival coordinator Kirsten Schneid who, in his letter to Batibot's producer, said: "Prix Jeunesse International 2012 received a record number of entries. It also makes me really happy that Batibot's next generation is in the finals! The pre-selection was so tough, out of 353 only 86 programmes made it to the final round. You and your team can be really proud!"

 

The report revealed thaty Batibot’s entry is an episode on "Art Around us: Shapes and Lines."
