Gabriel Garcia Marquez turns 85, One Hundred Years of Solitude goes digital

Agence France-Presse (via Interaksyon.com) reports that as Colombian literary giant turns 85 on Tuesday, March 6, the digital version of his novel, One Hundred Years of Solitude will also be available. This year also marks the 30th anniversary since Garcia Marquez was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary since Garcia Marquez was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.

 

The report noted that 30 million copies of the novel have been sold worldwide. The novel made its debut in 1967.
