Want to make some extra cash while updating your wardrobe?
We promise this is not spam.
(SPOT.ph) A new year means a new you—and a new you most of the time means a new wardrobe! (Yes, we're still using that excuse for our shopping urges.) If you want to toss out pieces from last season to make space in your closet but don't want them to go to waste, there's an app that can do that for you: Sparklist.
Sparklist has been around since November 2015 but officially launched in the Philippines last week, January 13. It's an app that connects buyers and sellers from the same area. "We find ourselves often surrounded by items we don’t use anymore, without realising they could be exactly what our neighbor is looking for," shares Nalla Karunanithy, founder of Sparklist.
The app allows users to find deals around the area as well as sell their old items (used or unused) by snapping a photo, creating a description, and adding a price. Buyers and sellers can also chat within the app so they can come up with deals and talk about delivery and payment method. Items are segregated in categories—aside from Women's and Men's Fashion and Accessories, you can also browse products under Cars and Motors, Sports, Leisure and Video games, Movies, Books and Music, Home and Garden, Baby and Child, Services, and Others.
The app is currently available for free on the Google Play Store and will soon be on the Apple Store.
