This year’s event, entitled “Come Away With Chi,” took place on Friday, March 8, and apart from escaping the hectic busyness of city life, it was also an afternoon that started with lots of learnings care of their special speakers and ended with a rejuvenating candlelit yoga session by the pool.

To start off the event, everyone was led to Chi, The Spa's Outer Sanctum for Chi Talks—a series of talks held every year where they invite guest speakers to share their insights about wellness and other important topics for women.

This year, they invited Dr. Vicki Belo to grace the event and share her wisdom on how to stay youthful no matter what age you are. During her talk, she brought up some really important tips like wearing sunscreen every day, and drinking lots of water, aside from talking about some of the services they offer at her clinic.

Next up was Dr. Mae Syki-Young, a gynecologist and obstetrician, and she talked about the common problems women experience when they want to start a family and the importance of always getting yourself checked.

To wrap up Chi Talks, Angel Pangilinan (Director of Chi, The Spa), talked about topics related to mental wellness and how to find peace in the middle of a crisis. She talked about how it's important to get to know yourself and how you react to certain situations. She also shared that it's important to allow yourself to feel the things you're feeling and not to bottle up all your emotions because that can be damaging to your overall mental health.
