(SPOT.ph)Â Earlier today, September 11 (September 10, Cupertino time), tech giant Apple announced its new line of products, the most anticipated of them being the latest iteration of their flagship smartphone, the iPhone 11. Alongside the new phones, Apple also launched the seventh generation iPad and the Apple Watch Series 5, but for now, let's focus on the star of the show: the iPhone 11.Â
Here's everything you need to know about the iPhone 11 series:
There are going to be three variants

Apple announced that apart from the iPhone 11, there will also be two more models: the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro Max. The iPhone 11 will have a 6.1-inch Retina display while the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro Max will have a 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch display, respectively.
The iPhone 11 will be available in six colors

How fresh are these colors for the iPhone 11? Take your pick from black, white, green, yellow, purple, and red.
The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in four colors

On the other hand, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in four sophisticated colors:Â gold, midnight green, silver, and space gray.
The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone Pro Max both have three cameras

The two phones come with a triple-camera system which will let you take photos like a pro (see what we did there?). The camera system features an Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto camera so you can take breathtaking shots any time.
All phones will have a wide-angle camera

While the iPhone 11 features a dual-camera system, it also has a Wide and Ultra Wide angle settings. Plus, all phones will have night mode as well as advanced photo and video editing tools within the camera app so you can upload your shots and videos with just a few taps.
The phones will have better video quality
According to Apple, each camera in the dual -and triple-camera systems records 4K video with a "cinematic video stabilization" so you'll be able to shoot high-quality clips.
The phones will have an improved battery life
Each phone is powered by Apple’s new A13 Bionic chip, which they've dubbed the “fastest chip ever in a smartphone." This means faster overall performance from the phone as well as improved battery life. The iPhone 11 Pro offers up to four more hours of battery life in a day than the iPhone XS while the 11 Pro Max offers up to five hours more than the XS Max. The iPhone 11 promises up to 17 hours of nonstop video playback on a full charge and can house up to 256 GB of internal memory.Â
All phones are water-resistant
The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are housed in Apple's strongest glass exterior to date while the iPhone 11 is encased in an aluminum and glass design. Each phone is water-resistant up to two meters for up to 30 minutes (four meters for the Pro and Pro Max), and promises to stay safe from everyday spills.
Prices start at U.S. $699
