Two-Day Battery Life, 5G Capability + More: Samsung's New Galaxy A Series Is Here
Here's your first look!
(SPOT.ph) In January, Samsung unveiled the latest devices in their flagship smartphone line, the Galaxy S Series. The S Series is known for its state-of-the-art features and specs and has long been a popular choice among tech geeks and high-end smartphone users. When it comes to mid-range smartphones, Samsung also offers feature-packed devices coupled with a more affordable price tag. So if you're looking for a smartphone with advanced features without breaking the bank, you'll be excited to know that today, March 17, Samsung finally unveiled the newest line of smartphones in their Galaxy A Series!
Here's your first look at Samsung's latest line of smartphones under the Galaxy A Series:
There are three phones in the series.
The latest line of A Series phones features three models: the Samsung Galaxy A52, Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, and Samsung Galaxy A72—as its name suggests, the A52 5G is 5G-compatible. Each model in the series sports a sleek exterior design with a unified color on the body and camera frame, minimal housing around the camera, and a matte haze finish to create a simple and refreshed look. You can get each model in four chic colors.
All three smartphones have an IP67 waterproof rating, which allows them to withstand up to one meter of water submersion for as long as 30 minutes. They're also dust-, spill-, and splash-resistant.
Each phone in the series promises sharp, dynamic display.
The A52 and A72 both offer a 90Hz refresh rate while the A52 5G offers a 120Hz refresh rate. All three models boast a super AMOLED screen that promises smooth, seamless scrolling and sharp and high-definition viewing. Each device is built with an increased brightness and luminance, allowing for a clearer display ideal for streaming or gaming. But don't worry about straining your eyes because the devices' Eye Comfort Shield adjusts the display's color temperature throughout the day, depending on your typical usage pattern. The adjustments are done automatically through AI technology.
Each phone promises up to two days of use on a full battery.
Yup, you read that right. You can go up to 48 hours without having to charge your phone with Samsung's new A Series. The A52 and A52 5G have a 4,500 mAh battery capacity while the A72 has a 5,000 mAh capacity. Each phone is engineered to optimize battery performance by adjusting to your daily routine and managing how much battery is used by running and unclosed apps.
The new A Series offers top-notch camera capabilities.
Camera quality is one of the top concerns for smartphone users when it comes to choosing a device. The A Series features a quad camera system on all three smartphone models with a 64-megapixel main camera, 32-megapixel front camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and five-megapixel depth camera. To make sure each photo you take is as clear and high-def as possible, the camera has Optical Image Stabilization that eliminates blur and shakiness. The A Series also has a Night Mode feature with multi-frame processing that allows you to bring more brightness into your photos even in low-light settings. To add some personality to your pics, you can also opt to use the versatile editing software built into the phone as well as the quirky filters and lenses.
If you plan on using your phone for video or vlogging purposes, you'll be glad to know that the series has an advanced camera system that allows you to shoot videos in 4K definition—you can even convert moments from your footage into 8-megapixel photos. Plus, the video-editing features let you cut and customize your footage right on your smartphone.
The new A Series smartphones will be available in the country very soon.
The Samsung Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A72 will be available in the Philippines starting March 26. We can't wait!
