Uniqlo's New Line of Jeans Allows You to Do Stuff You Never Thought Were Possible
There are things you just can't do in jeans, but there are a few exceptions.
Granted, there are things you just can't do in a pair of pants, like run a marathon or split like a ballerina. However, we thought you'd be glad to know that Uniqlo's new denim line just reinvented the way people wear their jeans.
The Uniqlo Re-Jean, which officially launched in Manila last week, features four new collections that are light, slimming, and ultra-stretchy. For starters, the Stretch Selvedge Slim Fit Jeans is made from high quality Kaihara denim, promising a tight and comfortable slim fit to the jeans.
The Miracle Air Skinny Fit Jeans is made with a special yarn developed by Toray and Kaihara's technology, and is 20 percent lighter than your usual denim jeans.
The Ultra Stretch Jeans has oversized rear pockets and uses material with 50 percent stretch rate, giving you that slim fit effect.
Finally, the Smart Shape Jeans has pockets and zippers designed to make bellies look slimmer, making it the perfect choice for those who want to add shape to their midsection.
In a nutshell, they all redefine how jeans are supposed to work. In fact, there are so many activities you can do in it; things you didn't know were actually possible until now. Here are some of them:
1. They make you look taller.
Cuff your jeans and show off your ankles for the illusion of extra inches.
2. They have a way of accentuating your behind.
Watch them watch you walk and see the difference.
3. They make your legs look longer and more shapely.
A good pair of legs deserves a good pair of jeans.
4. They're an ideal choice of outfit for formal events.
And everyone else is going to wish they followed your lead.
5. They help you with your balance and coordination.
Nothing's going to come between you and your headstands.
6. They allow you to sit any way you want.
Imagine sitting cross-legged without hurting your crotch.
7. They allow you to bust a move like no one's watching.
Nothing beats dancing in sweatpants, but jeans are more stylish and just as comfy.
