Hubert Webb willing to have movie made about his life if proceeds used to educate people
Recently acquitted Vizconde massacre suspect Hubert Webb has said he is willing to share his life story on film if the proceeds will be used to educate people, reports ABS-CBNNews.com.
"Bakit ba tayo nakukulong? Hindi ba kasi maraming anak," Webb told ABS-CBNNews.com "Bakit nakukulong? Hindi nakakapag-aral." To get out of poverty, Webb said parents should be aware that having many children can result in the lack of education and social mobility. "Kailangan ipabatid natin sa mga ano, (sa mag-asawa) na kung marami kayong anak hindi mo maibibigay ang mga kailangan niya para makalaban sa society," Webb told ABS-CBNNews.com. "Kapag doon ka nakapag-umpisa sa basic mas may chance tayo to get out of poverty."
According to the report, Webb has not thought about who he would like to play his character in a movie.
Webb, one of the six suspects for the 1991 Vizconde massacre, was acquitted on December 14.
