Prince William and Kate Middleton will be in the audience when Fil-Canadian Maria Aragon performs in Canada's 144th birthday concert
(SPOT.ph) Fil-Canadian YouTube sensation Maria Aragon, 10, will be singing during Canada's 144th birthday on July 1, reports Manila Bulletin. Among those expected to be in the audience are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
According to the report, the event is billed as the celebration of the centennial of Parks Canada and the 120th anniversary of the Canadian invention of basketball. Over 300,000 people are expected to attend the festivities. Aragon is one of over a hundred acts performing during the celebration. She will be representing her city, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The royal couple, meanwhile, will arrive in Canada on June 30, the report said. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Heritage Minister James Moor, and Governor General David Johnston will welcome them on Parliament Hill.
