5 Picturesque Spots in Resorts World Manila for Your Christmas IG Feed
Strike your best holiday pose!
(SPOT.ph) It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and Metro Manila netizens are flooding social media with Yuletide posts. But the Metro isn’t just known as one of the most festive cities when it comes to celebrating Christmas—it’s proving to be among the most photogenic, too. Need proof? Just check out Resorts World Manila (RWM), and see how several locations there make for a picture-perfect holiday snap.
Runway Manila is a 220-meter air-conditioned pedestrian link bridge that directly connects Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 (T3) with Newport City. Beyond simply allowing tourists a chance to enjoy a pleasant and seamless experience when moving between these two points, Runway Manila’s futuristic design registers nicely in photos—especially when it’s all lit up at night!
Lumina: Walkway of Lights
While you’re in Newport City, check out this bright spot at RWM. Lumina is a lighted pedestrian walkway connecting the second level of the integrated resort’s all-suite Maxims Hotel with the upscale lifestyle hub Newport Mall. Lumina is wired with at least 100,000 multicolored LED bulbs; if stretched in a straight line, the LEDs are approximately 10 kilometers long.
The Plaza in Newport Mall
If you’ve been to Macau, then you’ll know that The Plaza is patterned after the historic Senado Square. A quick holiday snap here captures the essence of Portugal’s influence on Macau, thanks to the mock black-and-white cobblestone pavement, and the al fresco vibe of the dining spots within The Plaza’s four walls.
Before you leave The Plaza in Newport Mall, take a seat in Santa’s sleigh and take control of his famous reindeer. Although you won’t really leave the ground, the young and the young at heart will get a kick out of taking the reins for this photo op.
Marriott Hotel Manila
Other than Christmas trees, nothing ushers in the holiday season better than Yuletide wreaths. At Marriott Hotel Manila, you will find not only the prettiest and most elaborate ones in the country but also arguably the grandest. The enormous Christmas décor forms a row of arches in the hallway leading to RWM under which guests can pass. It’s the ideal place for a traditional family portrait.
