5 Places To Visit in BGC That Aren't Bars and Restos
Perfect for casual walks and ‘gram sessions.
(SPOT.ph) Bonifacio Global City is often regarded as an upscale locale that has dozens of fancy bars and restaurants, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the place for free. For one, you can hit up these cool and totally IG-worthy spots and go photoshoot-crazy.
BGC Arts Center
Catch an outdoor musical performance at the BGC Arts Center. You might even chance upon an event like the BGC Art Mart, or catch a skit from BGC Impromptu. It has plenty of beautiful open spaces, like the open plaza and amphitheater, where you and the crew can take photos, play a game, or just chill.
This 1.6km stretch is perfect for a safe jog away from traffic, and is also a great place for a quick snap. It also features “pocket parks,” where you can squeeze in calisthenics intervals. The best part? This is a popular place to snap cute, cuddly pets going for walks with their hoomans!
Spot some at the W Fifth Avenue Building, One Global Place, and the Icon Plaza. New works are currently underway, so take the time to explore on foot. Make sure your camera is fully charged, too.
Bonifacio High Street
Don’t be swayed by the pretty window displays. There are a number of interesting art installations around High Street. And if you’re lucky, you might even be able to photograph the Philippine Lightsaber Guild as they practice their duels.
NutriAsia Cityscape Creative Bus Stop
Found on the corner of 30th Street and 9th Avenue, this fully operational bus stop is like no other in the country. Its concept is fun, colorful, and quirky, with interactive designs, so you stay entertained while waiting for your ride.
Built to happily welcome everyone who stops by the NutriAsia bus station, it serves as the landmark to the company’s head office. Be ready for a surprise as it gets “dressed up” depending on the occasion. At present, the Sarap-Saya Stop is decked out in a bright and funky cityscape theme, perfect for a selfie background. Share it on social media, and don’t forget to tag NutriAsia to let them know you’ve dropped by!
