FIRST LOOK: KidZania at Park Triangle, Bonifacio Global City
Who run the world? KIDS!
(SPOT.ph) Are your kids or nieces and nephews perennially glued to the iPad playing Minecraft? That's about to change! KidZania will open its doors to the public on August 7. Kids ages four to 14 will get to enjoy a fun and interactive learning experience as soon as they step into this world, where kids run the city.
KidZania is not your everyday play place—it's a place where kids can take on different grown-up roles which can help them figure out what they want to be, and be good at it! They can experience working for a newspaper, being a radio DJ, a chef (real food involved!), and more.
The 8,000-square meter space holds 52 establishments (real ones!) and each have at least one or two roles they can act out. From working, the kids receive checks which they can convert to KidZos (their currency) or save in the bank (with interest!). The kids can shop in the establishments or avail of services, like beauty services in a salon. It's their way of teaching kids that they have to work hard to get what they want in life.
Here's your first look at KidZania Manila:
