This Little Piece of Paradise Is Just an Hour Away From Manila

And it's definitely feed goals.

(SPOT.ph) Everyone needs a quick, regular getaway from the busy Metro. Or maybe you just want to spend some time with your friends without having to meet over lunch break or rushing to make it to after-work dinners. Lotus Pod Bed and Breakfast will make you feel like you’ve left all your problems in Manila—even if it’s just an hour’s drive away. (That’s likely shorter than your drive to work in the city!)

Lotus Pod gets its name from the number of pods in the plant because it’s the same number as the number of things you can do in the spacious three-hectare property in Laguna. (Hint: It’s a lot.) Whether your way of unwinding and de-stressing is through a quiet day at the spa or an exciting adrenaline rush, you'll have plenty to keep you occupied. You’ll want to have your cameras ready for this place, because every spot will make a great addition to your feed.

The Lotus Pod Spa can help you relax through their signature massage which combines shiatsu and Swedish techniques. For those who loosen up by being active, you can go for a swim or try out their zipline and trampoline. You can also bike around the wide and open space of the property. For nature lovers, you can bring your own tents and set up camp in the open areas instead of booking a room.

If you’re up for something new, you can sign up for their Agritours. They show you around their organic farm which is where the food that they serve comes from. Agriculture scientists tell you all about the benefits of organic food. They even teach you how to start your own in your backyard!

You can bring home a little piece of paradise with you through their Samu’t Sari Store, which is basically an assortment of everything that they love. They sell cute and interesting finds they’ve picked up around the area aside from their own organic veggies.

Rates start at P6,500++. Lotus Pod Bed and Breakfast is at 2340 Kalsadang Putol Street Purok 6, Barangay Puypuy, Bay, Laguna. For more information, visit their website or log on to their Facebook page.
