This Rustic Escape in Baguio Might Just Help You Overcome Writer's Block
It's the ideal setting for a four-day writing retreat.
(SPOT.ph) Writing is no easy feat, and even the best writers in the world find themselves struggling to come up with the right words to tell a story. There's really no foolproof way to get over writer's block but sometimes, a change of scenery is all you need to get your creativity flowing again, and Write Away might just be the answer to your writing woes. This four-day writing and life-coaching retreat will be held from October 17 to 20 and The Country Place in Baguio City, offering seminars, workshops, and motivational talks for writers.
Rustic and charming, The Country Place serves as the perfect backdrop for anyone who's looking for inspiration. Surrounded by lush gardens, this ancestral-home-turned-serviced-residence features nooks and crannies for the curious to explore; open spaces to help clear your mind; and a breathtaking view to refresh your spirit. As if that's not enough, you can also enjoy wine nights with your fellow writers and get a massage when you're not busy writing or attending workshops during your stay.
Now on its third year, Write Away will be facilitated by life coach Aurora M. Suarez and authors Samantha Sotto (Before Ever After, Love and Gravity) and Mina V. Esguerra (Fairy Tale Fail, That Kind of Guy). It's open to women 25 years old and older.
Write Away 2019 is from October 17 to 20 at The Country Place, 20 Dominican Hill Road, Baguio City. Workshop fee is at P55,000 (solo room) and P46,000 (shared room) but early birds can book for P45,000 (solo room) and P36,000 (shared room) until April 30.
