(SPOT.ph) With only a few weeks left before Christmas Day, you probably have your weekends booked with parties and reunions with friends and family you haven't seen in a while. Options are endless: pig out on potluck food, dance the night away at your favorite club, or enjoy an overnight stay at a nearby resort. How about mixing things up this year? Mystery Manila, which is popular for their live escape room games, is bringing the mystery all the way to Forbes Town Center in Taguig City with Murder Manila. This pop-up event runs from Fridays to Sundays, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. until January 31, 2020.
Instead of the usual Mystery Manila case where you look for clues inside a room, Murder Manila lets you and your friends play out assigned roles in a two-floor restaurant. The party starts out like most parties—with booze of course—until someone is "murdered" and you have to find who among your group is the "murderer."
You also have two whodunit murder mysteries to choose from: Death at Dinner, where a world-famous chef is murdered during the opening of his new restaurant; and Holiday Homicide, where a killer is on the loose during your annual Christmas party. How's that for a fun-filled reunion?
Joining a 60-minute round can cost you P999, which includes a round of drinks and light snacks. You can also have a private Murder Manila event from Mondays to Thursdays, which comes with a 10,000-peso reservation fee on top of the individual rates, still at Forbes Town Center.
Murder Manila is from Fridays to Sundays, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. It runs until January 31, 2020 at U-48 Forbes Town Center (previously Atelier Vivanda), Forbestown Road, Taguig City. For more information, follow Murder Manila on Facebook.
