Want to Know More About Plants? These Free Workshops in QC Are for You

We know taking care of them could be quite tricky.

(SPOT.ph) With photos of plants frequently seen on our Instagram feeds, it’s safe to say that urban gardening is all the rage right now. They make spaces cozier and more comfortable, not to mention they come with benefits like improving the air indoors and providing a therapeutic hobby for you to get into. Interested in experiencing the joy of taking care of plants? Want to learn about how to actually keep them alive? Plant Project PH, in partnership with Ortigas Malls, has organized Reconnect with Nature: Green Christmas in the City from December 6 to 8 at Circulo Verde in Quezon City.

The three-day event features workshops that you can attend for free, including “Succulents in the City: A Dish Garden Workshop” (December 7, 2 p.m.), “Make a Take Plant-Based Essential Oils” (December 7, 4 p.m.), and “Christmas is in the Air: All About Air Plants” (December 8, 4 p.m.). There will also be storytelling events and art classes like pot painting and doodle art sessions if that’s more up your alley. In between workshops are live band performances by Alab, Arts de Musique Band, and Jabez Band.

Whether you’re already a lover of plants, or wish to learn more and improve your green thumb, you’ll find something that will interest you at this event. It’s also a great way to be more eco-friendly this season, giving back not only to loved ones, but Mother Nature, too!

Reconnect with Nature: Green Christmas in the City runs from December 6 to 8 at Circulo Verde, Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City. To register, visit their SpeedyCourse page.
