(SPOT.ph) With Christmas displays being put up left and right, it's easy to get lost in the sea of sparkling lights, taking Instagram-worthy shots and forgetting about your furbabies waiting for you at home. But Pasig City's Capitol Commons, one of the few pet-friendly places in Metro Manila, has opened a light installation that can be enjoyed by kids, kids-at-heart, and yes, even your four-legged companions. Lights at the Park, as it is called, is on display until January 5, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Lights at the Park is inspired by Chris Burden's "Urban Light," which is installed at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in California. Capitol Commons' display is made of 42 eight- to 10-foot lamp posts wrapped with more than 50,000 bulbs. Careful not to bring your pets too close to the lights though!
After you're done taking photos of the outdoor installation from every angle, you can go inside the pet-friendly Estancia Mall, which just opened their new cinemas. Just make sure that your little ones are on a leash and wearing diapers.
Lights at the Park runs until January 5, 2020. It is on display daily from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Capitol Commons, Meralco Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. For more information, follow Capitol Commons on Facebook.
