This Week-Long Seat Sale Has Flights for P1
Don't worry: travel isn't anytime soon.
(SPOT.ph) It's no secret that the global air-travel industry has taken a significant blow following the COVID-19 outbreak. Airlines have started lowering airfare to compensate. AirAsia, for one, has just launched their first big seat sale for 2020. The AirAsia Big Sale runs until March 15, with travel period from September 7 to July 1, 2021.
Up to six million seats are up for grabs with one-way base fare at only P1. While members of AirAsia's BIG loyalty program got first dibs on March 8, everyone else still has the whole week left to snag discounted ticket prices. Routes on sale include Manila to Bangkok; Cebu to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Taipei, Cagayan de Oro, Caticlan, and Puerto Princesa; and from Clark to Kaohsiung. One-way flights from Kuala Lumpur to Fukuoka, Seoul, Gold Coast, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, and Taipei are also available for as low as P990.
"We are thrilled to announce our first BIG Sale for 2020, providing ample opportunity to book an affordable getaway from early September up until July of next year. The best way to secure the lowest fares and great value travel deals is to plan ahead and book early - as with this latest Big Sale," Karen Chan, chief executive officer of AirAsia, said in a statement.
The AirAsia Big Sale runs from March 9 to 15 with travel period from September 7 to July 1, 2021. For more information, visit AirAsia's website.
