(SPOT.ph) The great Bong Joon Ho, director of Oscar-winning Parasite, once said, “Once you overcome the one-inch-tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films.” If you would want to get past that so-called barrier when watching the latest K-Dramas or you just want to learn something new (which can be useful for a future trip to the Land of the Morning Calm), here's your chance to learn Korean for free!

The Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines is offering online Korean language classes for beginners. The Korean 1 class will run for 10 weeks, from August 6 to October 9, every Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Those who are aged 13 to 17 years old will have to get an online waiver signed for parents' consent.

To register for the class, be on the lookout for a Google Form registration link on the Korean Cultural Center's Facebook page on Thursday, July 30 at 10 a.m. Until then, annyeong!
