Fly to Boracay for Less Than P1,000 Next Summer

(SPOT.ph) Travelers are looking forward to better days in 2021 as hotels and airlines hold advanced online sales for future trips. And now that we're only counting the days until Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan reopens, AirAsia has announced a week-long sale for flights to Caticlan from as low as P8 (one-way base fare). Sale period is from September 28 to October 4, while travel period is from October 1 to June 30, 2021.

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases on September 24 released Resolution No. 74, where they state that "effective October 1, 2020, Boracay Island may accept tourists from areas within a community quarantine classification of General Community Quarantine or lower, apart from travelers from Western Visayas."

All guests are required to present pre-arranged reservations, negative COVID-19Â test results taken between 48 to 82 hours prior to travel, and go on strict quarantine after the test up until flying to Boracay. Only the Godofredo P. Ramos Airport in Caticlan should only be used as port of entry.
