(SPOT.ph) Ultimate (a.k.a. ultimate Frisbee) has been around for a while now. The American sport, which requires players to throw and catch a flying disc, reached our shores in the 2000s, and it wasn't long before neighborhoods, schools, and cities organized their ultimate competitions. The University of the Philippines' DUO (Diliman Ultimate Organization), for one, has been organizing the National Ultimate Collegiate Championship since 2012. And on July 16 to 17, they were hailed as this year's winners during a finals game at the Greenfield City Sports Field in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The rainy weather didn't stop any team from going all out in playing this well-loved sport.
