(SPOT.ph) There seems to be a fun run happening every other weekend these days, and we can’t blame you if the usual race routes are starting to feel a little repetitive. If you’re looking to shake things up—and get your heart racing for reasons beyond cardio—this upcoming Halloween run through the historic (and supposedly haunted) streets of Intramuros might be just your thing.
Aptly titled Run for Your Life: A Zombie Run, the event is part of the INTRAMUMU 2026 Halloween festivities. Here's what to expect at this fun run that puts your zombie apocalypse survival skills to the test.

Run For Your Life: A Zombie Run is a five-kilometer race happening on November 1 from 3:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Unlike most fun runs, the challenge is not only to finish the track, but to run fast, stay alert, and get past the hidden challenges awaiting at every corner. TLDR: Will you survive getting chased by hordes of zombies along the spooky streets of the Walled City?
If you’re a fan of zombie-themed horror survival games like the Resident Evil series, or love watching zombie flicks like Dawn of the Dead and Train to Busan, this run will definitely get your pulse racing!
How to join INTRAMUMU’s Run For Your Life: A Zombie Run
You can now secure your spot for Run For Your Life, as well as tickets for both days of the INTRAMUMU 2026, through the registration link. Keep in mind that tickets for Run for Your Life cannot be used for entry to Day 1 or Day 2 events. So if you’re also thinking of joining the rest of INTRAMUMU activities, you'll have to secure tickets for those separately.
The registration fee is P999 and includes a finisher medal, race singlet, race bib, and additional goodies and souvenirs.
You still have a few more months to prepare and give yourself a fighting chance against the zombies. But given the growing interest in the event, it’s best to register for the highly anticipated zombie run now to secure your slot.
More details about this spooky Halloween run, such as event maps or registration booths, may still be announced closer to the event date. But don't worry, Spotters, we'll be on the lookout for more updates.
