(SPOT.ph) As one of the country's largest cities, it should come as no surprise that Quezon City is home to many interesting spots and fun activities, with more popping up as the days go by. We know it can get overwhelming, but if you’re up for a new way to explore its sights, heritage spots, and attractions, the city now has its very own tourism passport to help you keep track of where you have to go.
Introducing the Quezon City Explorer Passport. Here's what you need to know.
What is the Quezon City Explorer Passport?
Make your visit to Quezon City's museums and heritage sites more immersive with the Quezon City Explorer Passport. This handy pad lets you tick off QC's must-visit locations with suggested itineraries to explore the city. Not only that, but it also has dedicated pages for your notes, photos, stickers, and other mementos of your journey.
Speaking of mementos, you can also do a stamp rally with your passport or your own journal at the participating establishments. This way, you can treat visiting the different galleries, parks, and heritage sites like a scavenger hunt.
How to Get Your Quezon City Explorer Passport
The QC Explorer Passport is free and available every Tuesday at the following participating museums:
Quezon Heritage House
Bahay Modernismo
Tandang Sora Women’s Museum
To qualify for a passport, you must:
Join the official guided tour facilitated by the participating museums. You won’t be eligible for a passport if you visit the museum without joining the guided tour.
Complete the Visitor Feedback Form after the tour to help the museum improve its programs and visitor experience.
Follow the official Facebook or Instagram pages of the QC Tourism and Promotions, Quezon HeritageHouse, Bahay Modernismo, and Tandang Sora Women’s Museum.
There will only be 10 passports available in these museums every Tuesday, given on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one (1) passport per visitor will be given to those who complete all requirements and cannot be claimed on behalf of another person. So, plan your visit in advance and arrive early at your museum of choice.
