Virgin Labfest returns for its 11th year from June 24 to July 12 at the CCP Studio Theater. Meet the new breed of untried, untested, and unstaged plays by emerging and well-known playwrights. The Virgin Labfest aims to provide Filipino playwrights a venue to present their unpublished works to the theater-going public. Some of this year's productions include Jerome Ignacio's Kublihan, Kevin Tabora’s Mapagbirong Haplos, and Herlyn Gail Alegre's Huling Huli, among many others. Ticket pass is priced at P300, while the festival pass is priced at P1,200.

Don't miss Sabel (Love and Passion) on June 26 and 27, 8 p.m., at the Music Museum. This production, starring Iza Calzado, essays the story of a dynamic young woman who loved, above all, to dance. From the depths of her depression to the glory of her personal triumph, it was dance that helped hold her life together and ultimately regain her soul. Tickets are priced at P2,060, P1,545, and P1,030.

Catch the screening of K'na The Dreamweaver from June 23 to 26 at the CCP Dream Theater. The time slots scheduled are at 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. K’na the Dreamweaver is about Kana, a young T’boli woman who becomes a weaver. The T’bolis are indigenous people from the city of South Cotabato who are famous for T’nalak, a traditional cloth made of Abaca fibers also known as the “woven dreams."  The T’nalak fabric represents significant point in the people’s lives, such as birth, marriage, and death. In the movie, Kana was chosen by the gods to weave the opposing clans of her village at the cost of her true love. Tickets are priced at P155.

Light up your Saturday night at the Energizer Night Race Manila 2015 on June 27, 5:30 p.m., at Filinvest City in Alabang. An Energizer battery meter will be shown through an LED-display onstage at the 1.5 km mark and at the start/finish arc.
