The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf presents ArtxMusicxTheCoffeeBean, together with Bonifacio High Street for Summer On The Street festival, happening on April 30, 11 a.m., at the Bonifacio High Street East Park. Find great art pieces at the Art Mart, do chalk art on the walkways of BHS, be one of the few to doodle on the giant The Coffee Bean cup, and be entertained with musical performances! There will also be workshops on Theater Improv and Creative Movement, facilitated by Third World Improv and Daloy Dance Company!

Fill the summer with new and fun activities! Learn and practice everyday artistry through workshops and an arts and crafts bazaar. From April 29 to May 1, Shangri-La Plaza will be holding Craft Mania 2016 at the East Atrium. Most of the workshops, such as those on different calligraphy styles, watercolor, and creative coloring techniques, will be free! Kids can join the Stamp Calligraphy Card-Making just in time for Mother’s Day. The adults can have their share of fun at the Kaleidolines Workshops and Polymer Clay Molding Workshop. There's going to be an Arts and Crafts Bazaar, too!

Themed Against Forgetting, the 7th Philippine International Literary Festival underscores the role of creation as an individual’s attempt at breaking silence, as an act of bravery against seeming futility. The festival, happening on April 28 and 29 at the QCX Quezon Memorial Circle, will feature a plenary session on the theme, a workshop on literary editing, and roundtable discussions on writing, publishing, rights trading, and readership. Admission is free for all sessions. Everyone is encouraged to bring book donations.
