Brewfest MNL Social


Satisfy not only your thirst, but also your hunger as Brewfest MNL brings together the best local craft brewers and restaurateurs in one event. This year’s run features 10 different brewers from all over Metro Manila, along with 10 upcoming concept food stores. Head over to the Century City Mall from July 15 to 17, 3 p.m., as Brewfest MNL Social brings you a chill urban experience. Road to Gurgaon India


Hyatt City of Dreams features Chef Ajith Kumar from Hyatt Regency Gurgaon, New Delhi for the Road to Gurgaon, India, from July 17 to 24. Chef Ajith will prepare, among others, Paneer makhani (cottage cheese simmered in tomato sauce spiked with fenugreek), Maas ke sooley (smoked lamb with raw papaya), and Kerala prawn masala (tiger prawn with coconut curry leaves, ginger, and chili). Suicide, Incorporated


In line with Twin Bill Theater's Mental Health Awareness campaign is the staging of Suicide, Incorporated, running from July 15 to 31 at The PARC Manila. The production is a subversive, darkly comic play about opportunism and that elusive thing called redemption. It tells the story of Jason, who's having a tough week at work. He's been hired at Legacy Letters to help clients craft the perfect suicide note. Start-up company Plato PH presents the newest addition to its growing roster of chefs, Markus Elegino, with an event for all sweet tooths. On July 16, 7 p.m., at Launch Garage in Circulo Verde, the company is hosting Sweet Endings. They may often be overlooked, but to Chef Markus, “dessert is the most important part of the meal because, like they say, save the best for last; it’s the deciding factor if you leave with a smile and everlasting sweet memory.” With the wide variety of desserts to be served on Saturday, Chef Markus and the Plato team hope to leave a big smile on the faces of their customers.

Tokyo-Manila Jazz and Arts Festival 2016 presents the Rhythm and Blues Remake, a musical collaboration between jazz artists, like Charito, Yuki Arimasa, Colby Dela Calzada, Alvin Cornista, and Bratpack. The event will be hosted by Cris Villonco on July 15, 6:30 p.m., at the Central Square in Bonifacio High Street. Don't miss this creative and passionate "musical meeting of minds."
