Dubbed as the country's largest all-Filipino book fair, this literary playground might just have your next great read (and then some). Time to update your TBRs and to clear your shelves because this fair has got all the latest reads from your favorite Filipino authors and publishing houses. Here’s everything you need to know about this must-not-miss book fair coming this March.

Here's everything we know (so far) about the upcoming Philippine Book Festival this March 2026:

Happening from March 12 to 15 at Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall, the four-day, free-admission fair is organized by the National Book Development Board (NBDB) and marks the first major book event of 2026.

Dubbed as "more than a book fair, it's an experience," expect a wide range of homegrown titles alongside signings, author meet-and-greets, panel discussions, and workshops that go beyond the usual browse-and-buy experience. In fact, in previous years, there were also displays and exhibits featuring rare books and collections from the National Library of the Philippines and private libraries.

The Philippine Book Festival has something for all types of readers. If past runs are any indication, you can expect children's titles, fiction, non-fiction, and even graphic novels and komiks to be on deck. And unlike other big-ticket book events, the Philippine Book Festival shines the spotlight solely on Filipino authors and artists—think of it as your favorite bookstore’s Filipiniana section, amplified.

Entrance to the Philippine Book Festival:

You can register for the Philippine Book Festival as early as now. Entrance is free, but you still need to sign up online. A screenshot of the acknowledgement upon completion of the form will serve as your ticket to the fair, so keep that in mind. Though the full lineup of exhibitors, workshops, and pocket events has yet to be released and you're pretty much signing up blind to the 2026 run of this fair, we're pretty sure this fair is one for the books (pun intended). If you're still on the shelves—er, fence, here's a look at the Philippine Book Festival 2025 to hype yourself up.
