Cheap Eats: P26 for Unlimited K-BBQ, 40% Off at Shakey's + More

In this week's Cheap Eats, we're sharing the deets on how you can get unlimited Korean BBQ at Samgyupsalamat for P26, unlimited hot pot and free-flowing beer at Lan Hot Pot for P799, two Chikin Dosirak meals at Bonchon Chicken for P420, and more.

Samgyupsalamat is celebrating 2026 with a chance to eat unlimited Korean barbecue for only P26 (2026 = P26). This is offered to the fourth person accompanied by three full-paying adults. To give you an idea of how much it costs: Samgyupsalamat's Unlimited Menu regularly costs P749 per head, or P649 per head for two people. This already includes 21 different kinds of meat, 10 side dishes, and bottomless iced tea.

Samgyupsalamat's 2026 New Year Special Promo is available from January 5 to 29, from Monday to Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is available in all Samgyupsalamat branches.

Gong Cha is holding another drink promo for the month. Get thirsty: from January 5 to 9, you can get selected medium-sized drinks for a discounted price of P99. The participating drinks for this promo are Caramel Milk Tea, Grapefruit Tea (Green Tea/Black Tea), Peach Green Tea, Mocha Cookie Coffee, and Strawberry Taho.

This Gong Cha promo is available until January 9 across all Gong Cha branches except Araneta Coliseum, Robinsons Dumaguete, Filinvest Marina Town, JP Morgan, and SM City Legazpi. Take note that this is for walk-in transactions only.

Shakey's knows how to start the year on a good note: a whopping 40% discount if you have a BDO credit card. Available from January 5 to February 27, eligible cardholders can get the 40% discount upon meeting the minimum dine-in or take-out bill worth P2,500, with the discount capped at P2,000.

Promo mechanics state that orders must be placed from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Friday—making it perfect for weekday merienda or dinner plans. This promo is available across all Shakey's branches nationwide except Mactan - Cebu International Airport.

Did you know that you can also get unlimited beer and soda to go with your unlimited hot pot at Lan Hot Pot? You'll just have to pay an additional P120 per head (on top of the buffet rate—P799/head from Mondays to Thursdays, and P899/head from Fridays to Sundays and holidays) to avail of the free-flowing drinks. Note that all parties in the table will have to get the free-flowing drinks option. This Lan Hot Pot offering is available at all branches except for Okada, until January 15.

Bonchon Chicken welcomes the new year with a three-month-long promo that lets you get two Chikin Dosirak meals for the steal price of P420, which means you save P130. Each Chikin Dosirak (Korean word meaning packed lunch) includes Korean chicken, mandu, japchae, soup, and drinks. You can switch the main protein and get the Boneless Chikin Dosirak or Seafood Dosirak instead. Bonchon Chicken's Chikin Dosirak promo is available until March 31. This is available for dine-in and take-out transactions only.

S&R New York Style Pizza suggests starting 2026 with a pizza party. Their January promo bundles two pizzas for less than P1,000. For P929, you can get anan 18-inch Cheese Pizza, 18-inch Pepperoni Pizza or an 18-inch Garlic & Shrimp Pizza, a 1.5-liter Pepsi product.

If you're a Coke drinker, you can get the same pizza pairings with your favorite soda. For a slightly higher price of P979, you can get an 18-inch Cheese Pizza and an 18-inch Pepperoni Pizza or 18-inch Garlic & Shrimp Pizza, and a 1.5-liter Coke product.

Now, if you're a burger > pizza person, S&R New York Style Pizza also has a January 1 (1.1) Duo Deal. You can buy two Spicy Chicken Sandwiches and a 1.5-liter Pepsi product for P311. S&R's Spicy Chicken Sandwich costs P150 each, so what you're saving up on is the drinks since you're only paying P11 for it!

S&R New York Style Pizza's 2026 Pizza Party Two For You promo is available until January 31, while the 1.1 Duo Deal is available until January 15.

Highlands Coffee is starting 2026 with a Mochi Milk Tea promo wherein you can get a large cup for only *P119 from P159—basically, 25% off on the drinks. Highlands Coffee's Mochi Milk Tea lineup includes four flavors: Matcha Mochik Milk Tea, Hojicha Mochi Milk Tea, Taiwan Mochi Milk Tea (Taiwanese black milk tea), and Hong Kong Mochi Milk Tea (Hong Kong-style milk tea).

This Highlands Coffee's Mochi Milk Tea promo is available from January 5 to 18. This is offered in participating Highlands Coffee branches within Metro Manila and Cebu.
