Well-loved Italian restaurant Cibo is turning back the clock to that very year, when it first welcomed diners at Glorietta and quickly made a name for itself among Manila foodies with its Italian-inspired creations. To celebrate 29 years of good food and great memories, the restaurant is treating everyone to a special throwback treat: diners can enjoy one item from Cibo’s original 1997 menu for just P29, with a minimum single-receipt purchase of P1,997.

For longtime Cibo fans, this anniversary promo is a chance to revisit flavors that have been part of the restaurant’s story from the very beginning. The throwback lineup includes beloved classics such as Penne al Telefono, Tagliata di Manzo, Linguine al Nero, Pappa al Pomodoro, and Tiramisù di Marghi. The P29 treat also gives a new generation of diners a chance to discover the dishes that helped put Cibo on Manila’s dining map.

It all began on August 22, 1997, when culinary icon and celebrated chef Margarita Forés introduced Cibo to Manila’s dining scene. Inspired by panino spots in Milan and Rome, Cibo started as a modern Italian caffé-paninoteca before growing into the beloved Italian dining institution it is today.

The P29 promo is available at all Cibo stores nationwide, but only until August 20, 2026 (not valid during holidays). So hurry and grab your favorite Cibo classics while you still can!
