(SPOT.ph) CIBO is turning 28—but instead of them asking for gifts, they’re the ones doing the all the spoiling. The beloved Italian restaurant—founded by the late, great Chef Margarita Forés—is celebrating this milestone the way only a casual Italian dining icon would: with new, limited-edition dishes from Executive Chef Jorge Mendez (yes, our Chef of the Year 2024, just in case you need more reason to be excited); and not-to-be-missed promos that let you order up your CIBO faves for just P28.

CIBO's Executive Chef Jorge Mendez has launched new limited-edition Italian dishes with a Filipino twist on the menu. Available from August 5 until September 30, there's the Tubettoni alla Ndjua (P649/solo), a spicy and creamy pasta that's protein-packed with the Ndjua sausage: a spicy, spreadable pork sausage from Italy, and made more indulgent with burrata, tomato tsukemono, and, just because there's no such thing as too much tomatoes, this pasta also has stewed tomatoes. The Ndjua Pizza (P799) is the finger-food-friendly version of the pasta, with the pizza topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, Nduja sausage, and burrata.
To sweeten the deal (literally), CIBO plays around with local flavors in its newest seasonal pastries. The Turon Bomboloni is stuffed with banana cream custard and crowned with a caramelized banana slice, while the Ube Maritozzo is bound to be an ube lover's latest obsession. This sweet pastry is stuffed with ube custard, whipped cream, and caramelized coconut. Both go for P129 apiece, but if you're half-indecisive, half-sweet tooth, you can opt for the assorted box of six at P549—it comes with three seasonal picks and three of your fave CIBO signature pastries.

From August 5 to September 30, you can get CIBO's famous Classic Iced Tea for just P28, and believe it or not, there's no minimum purchase required for this one. Just to be clear, this discount only applies to the iced teas served in glasses when you dine in. Read: the discount does not apply to the bottled version.
So, go ahead, grab a table, and order a glass... or 28 glasses. No judgment here, we promise. The other good-to-believe aspect—just in case it didn't sink in—is that we have two months to get this discount—in other words, there's zero excuse to miss it. Nessuno, capire?

Just take note that the maximum discount is capped at P3,000 per transaction.
CIBO 28th birthday promo: Always CIBO Raffle Promo
There will be an "Always CIBO" raffle promo for those dining in, from August 5 to September 30. The promo entails that for every P2,800 dine-in, single-receipt purchase at any CIBO store nationwide equals to a raffle entry for a chance to win the following: a CIBO-orange tinted Vespa, a CIBO-orange Smeg refrigerator, a Smeg coffee machine, or a year's worth of CIBO.
Guests can double their raffle entries when their qualifying purchase includes at least one featured item: Tubettoni alla 'Nduja, Nduja Pizza, or the assorted box of six CIBO pastries (three pieces of the signature pastries and three pieces of the seasonal pastries).
The CIBO Bimbi Experience is now available in all stores
CIBO relaunches the Bimbi program, now available in all stores nationwide. This was originally launched at the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, featuring interactive coloring placemats, crayons, and the Cibots: animated characters inspired by CIBO's core ingredients, namely the spinach, squash, and tomatoes.
There is now an expanded program for diners with young children. Open to kids aged 12 and below is Club Bimbi: No minimum purchase required, just register for the child to get the Club Bimbi membership card, which is a magical card with exclusive perks, and once they turn 13, the membership will be upgraded to LEALTÀ, CIBO's loyalty program.
Oh, the Club Bimbi perk, you ask? There's the exciting "Bimbi, You Eat Free" which is a complimentary meal (appetizer, main dish, and dessert valued at P599) from the new Bimbi Menu, offered for every P2,000 minimum dine-in purchase. Just take note that this is for dine-in transactions only, and that the child (with their Club Bimbi card) must be present at the time of ordering.
The new CIBO LEALTÀ experience
Launching on August 5, the new LEALTÀ offers exclusive perks like discounts, birthday treats, and access to special experiences across dine-in, take-out, delivery, and retail channels.
For those dining in, you can get generous discounts, such as 30% off on Mondays and Tuesdays, 20% off on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 10% off from Friday to Sunday. These discounts are offered when you meet the required minimum spend of P2,000—and maximum of P5,000—in a single receipt of regular menu items. There's also a birthday treat: free CIBO’s signature Tiramisù during their birth month, with a minimum dine-in spend.
The benefits don’t stop at the restaurant. Take-out orders worth P2,000 or more qualify for a 20% discount, while delivery orders placed via CIBO’s official platform come with free delivery for a minimum purchase of P1,500 within designated service areas. Members also get 10% off on Alimentari products and branded merchandise, with savings capped at P2,500 per transaction.
On top of all this, LEALTÀ members can look forward to exclusive monthly offers, invitations to private events, and curated updates sent that will be sent through SMS, e-mail, and CIBO’s official channels.
