Draft Restaurant & Brewery Closes After 15 Years of Service

(SPOT.ph) Back in the early 2010s, when craft beer and microbreweries were just beginning to gain a following in the Philippines, there were only a handful of places where you could enjoy a wide selection of beers on tap. One of them was Draft Gastropub, now called Draft Restaurant & Brewery.

Now, after years of pouring pints and serving as a go-to spot for beer enthusiasts, Draft Restaurant & Brewery is preparing to call last orders. The establishment has announced that it will be permanently closing its doors.

In a social media post, Draft Restaurant & Brewery announced that it is preparing to close its doors on June 30, marking the end of a 15-year run that began in 2011.

"Thank you for making Draft more than just a place to eat and drink. You made it feel alive. Before the lights dim for the last time, come by for one more night with us. One more conversation, one more laugh, one more drink shared across the table. We'd love to see familiar faces again before we say goodbye," the restaurant wrote.

The concept first opened in Bonifacio Global City in 2011 and, over the next several years, expanded to key locations across Metro Manila, including Rockwell, Greenbelt, Alabang, and Ortigas. More than a decade (and the pandemic) later, only its Rockwell branch remains in operation.

To give you more reason—aside from nostalgia of the years of (hopefully) legal-age drinking—to visit the Rockwell branch one last time, Draft is currently offering 25% off crowd favorites such as their Sisig and Pepperoni Pizzas (discounted prices at P413 and P374, respectively), and the Artichoke & Parmesan Dip (discounted price is at P484). The catch? The discount is only available while supplies last, so arriving early gives you the best chance of scoring this deal.
