(SPOT.ph) Substituting regular dairy for oat milk isn’t just about lactose intolerance. See, there are other pros to the oat-based beverage—like how it naturally adds a layer of sweetness to your coffee, without the need for added sugar. With its high demand, oat milk has become a staple upgrade option in most cafés, and it’s trickling down to fast food chains like Dunkin’.
Yes, you heard that right. You can now say “Sub oat, please!” when you order your favorite Dunkin’ drink.

Dunkin’ has been steadily expanding, experimenting, and refining its coffee lineup. What once was a simple choice between Classic or Hazelnut Iced Coffee has now grown to include a range of caffeinated options like Iced Macchiato and Cold Brew. And now, they’re taking things a step further—by introducing oat milk to the menu, from none other than Oatside.

The best part? The Oatside option isn't limited to the new drinks. For an additional P25, you can sub in oat milk for any of Dunkin’s existing milk-based beverages. That means your usual cappuccino can be an oatmilk cappuccino. Your go-to latte? Oatmilk latte, even if it's the Spanish one.
This goes to show that even your go-to fast food chain knows how to keep up with the world's alt-milk standards. If this happened, who knows what Dunkin's next move is? Almond milk substitute? Sea salt cream topping? Maybe. Hopefully. We'll just have to wait and find out.
