(SPOT.ph) The last few years have seen the Quezon City cocktail scene grow in leaps and bounds, with several bars centered around the Scout area developing a reputation for inventive drinks, great atmosphere, and a real focus on the craft of mixology. This year, the bars around that area have banded together for the inaugural Quezon City Cocktail Jamboree: a celebration that will surely draw more attention to what’s happening in the area.

Quezon City holds its first-ever Cocktail Jamboree

The festival takes place from October 2 to October 4 and has two main components. On the nights of October 2 and 3, bartenders from Jakarta will be hosting takeovers of the participating bars. Four bars each night, with two takeovers happening simultaneously at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Bargoers should have plenty of time to get to all of the participating bars.

And on October 4, Sunday, Ruby Hall in Max’s Scout Tuason will hold “The Gathering Grounds,” a culminating event that will feature local drink brands, cocktails, food, music, tattoos, piercings, and a lot more, all for a P500 entrance ticket.

Bar.Flora Hosts Cosmo Pony
Starts at 8 p.m.

Bar.Flora, in the F7 building on Scout Rallos, is a Gin and Tea bar, with signature cocktails that pair the botanical spirit with the ancient botanical beverage. They are hosting Cosmo Pony, 15th on Asia’s Best Bars 2026, a bar that opened fairly recently, but has become a real favorite among cocktail enthusiasts in Jakarta.

Old Times Hosts The Golden Tooth
Starts at 8 p.m.

Scout Torillo’s Old Times is a lounge with a retro feel that tends to get a little raucous late into the night. They are paired with The Golden Tooth, 40th on Asia’s Best Bars 2026, which describes itself as “not a bar, but a living room with a big bar in it.” It’s known for being relaxed and quiet, and it’s going to be interesting to see what they pull off in Old Times’ rather grand space.

Wrong Door Hosts Dualism
Starts at 10 p.m.

Wrong Door is hidden behind an unmarked door beneath a Samgyupsal joint on Scout Delgado. Inside, it still feels like a secret, with a dark atmosphere and a focus on sophisticated drinks. They will host Dualism, a bar that serves cocktails in pairs, using the same ingredients to deliver two different experiences.

After Hours on A. Roces has quietly become one of the most adventurous cocktail bars in all of Metro Manila, with their latest menu taking inspiration from Filipino stories and maximizing the use of local ingredients. They are paired well with Between the Sips, a just-as-adventurous Indonesian bar with a focus on experimentation and the art of mixology that is ranked 73rd among Asia’s Best Bars.

2B is the newest bar among the participants, and it’s tucked away on the second floor of the Cocoon Hotel on the corner of Scout Rallos and Scout Tobias. Recraft Hosts Modernhaus
Starts at 10 p.m.

Recraft on Scout Tobias, with its history of pushing cocktail sensibilities forward, makes a fitting host for Modernhaus, which is considered the best bar in all of Indonesia. It is listed as the 11th on Asia’s Best Bars, and its menu features drinks that blend local ingredients, fermented components, and an eye towards sustainability.

Ruby’s Lounge Hosts The St. Regis Bar
Starts at 10 p.m.

Ruby’s is the smallest bar on this list—it’s a tiny ten-seater cocktail bar inside Max’s Restaurant on Scout Tuason that offers exciting off-menu cocktails. Interestingly, they’re hosting the largest bar from Jakarta, The St. Regis Bar, which is located in the hotel of the same name. It's a luxe spot known for lavish interiors, strong cocktails, and live jazz performances. It’ll be fun to see what these bartenders do in a much smaller space.

October 4, Sunday

The Gathering Grounds at Ruby Hall, Max’s Scout Tuason

Starts at 3 p.m.

The culminating activity of the first-ever QC Cocktail Jamboree is an open party where one can mingle with the participants and sample spirits and beverages from local brands and distributors. Among the brands present are Disterleria Limtuaco, Ginebra 1834, Arcangel, Kasa Kaña, Beam Suntory, Loca Loka Tequila, and much, much more.

How to get tickets to Quezon City Cocktail Jamboree

A ticket for the event can be bought at any of the participating bars. P500 gives you entrance and two cocktails at The Gathering Grounds.
