Your Next Harlan Coffee Sea Salt Latte Comes With an Overlooking View

(SPOT.ph) Harlan Coffee has been part of the Bonifacio High Street landscape for years. Its first flagship opened on the corner of 28th Street and 5th Avenue, back when it was still called Harlan + Holden Coffee, but people also mistook it for "because coffee" because of the signage. Oh, the decision to drop "+ Holden"? It was made shorter to make it easier to remember as it expands globally.

The brand eventually moved out of that spot, but it didn't exactly leave BGC behind. Harlan Coffee opened a few more locations around the area, which makes sense for a business district that seems to run almost entirely on caffeine. Soon, Harlan Coffee will open its most ambitious, design-forward, and largest branch with the Harlan Bridge.

Harlan Bridge will take over the open-air pedestrian bridgeway nearest the BGC Amphitheater—you know, the one with the gigantic LED screens. This is the same bridge that connects the Globe Iconic Store to the Central Square entrance and the dining and retail spots along 5th Avenue.

If you've been to one or two of Harlan Coffee's standalone branches, you've probably noticed that the brand has a thing for a very specific look: clean, monochromatic spaces, each built around one defining material or architectural element. For the Harlan Bridge, the brand is working with Barcelona-based Arquitectura-G, with glass and steel expected to shape the new space. In line with the brand's philosophy, they have ensured not to obstruct the pathway or alter the movement underneath the bridge.

On the menu, expect Harlan Bridge exclusives and several new food items, thanks to something none of its other branches have: its own kitchen. That means more grab-and-go options, plus dishes that can be prepared to order rather than simply reheated from the display. And with 210 seats, this makes Harlan Bridge the biggest (in size and seating capacity) branch to date, leaving plenty of room to sit, linger, and people-watch with a coffee and something to bite.

It's quite exciting, and luckily, we won't have to wait for too long. Harlan Bridge is opening veeeery soon; it's slated to open by the end of September 2026, arriving just in time to feel like an early Christmas present for Sea Salt Latte fans.
