(SPOT.ph) When the hankering rises for chicken inasal that ticks all the right boxes—smoky, juicy, and well-seasoned—JT’s Manukan Grille delivers. They ranked number one both the 2012 and 2019 versions of our Top 10 lists for this reason. Now we’ve got even more reasons to stan the brand: JT’s recently partnered with the United Nations World Food Programme to feed children in need, and you can help out, too.

JT's Manukan's partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme

JT’s Manukan and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) are teaming up for JT’s Meals for the Kids, a partnership aiming to support schoolchildren and food-insecure families in the country. The goal? To raise P12 million in the span of two years, which would allow the WFP to strengthen its operations in the Philippines by providing school meals and carrying out other social protection initiatives.

P1 from every order of grilled chicken sold across JT's branches in the Philippines, Dubai, and Singapore will be contributed to the program, through WFP’s ShareTheMeal platform. You also have the option to donate directly through ShareTheMeal’s website.

“As a brand built on family, nourishment, and shared moments, we believe food can also be a force for change,” JT’s Manukan's Joel Torre said in a statement.

The WFP is working with the Philippine Government to implement home-grown school feeding, by giving out daily hot school meals using ingredients from local farmers. In 2025, they were able to reach 12,000 schoolchildren in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and Isabela province in Luzon, while working with over 2,800 smallholder farmers.
