(SPOT.ph) There's nothing that brings people together more than their shared rage against the system, anything that comes for free, and, well, coffee. It happened at KapeCon’s first run last year, and it’s bound to happen again as the free coffee festival gears up for its second edition.
Your Guide to KapeCon 2026

KapeCon is happening on October 10 and 11 (Saturday and Sunday), and it’s returning to the same spot as last year's: Paseo de Roxas Avenue, Makati City. Organized by Coffee Home Brewers, the free coffee festival brings together the entire coffee chain—from farmers and roasters to café owners and, of course, the coffee drinkers who keep everyone in business.
Last year drew 15,000 people, so expectations—and caffeine levels—are understandably higher this year. This time around, KapeCon is bringing in even more coffee merchants, plus even more food vendors because you’re going to need something to eat after your third cup of coffee.

Schedule of activities at KapeCon 2026
Latte Art Twosome Throwdown

When: October 10; the event starts at 2 p.m.
Where: KapeCon Lounge
Sure, you can make your own latte art on your own, but can you do it as a conjoined twin? This competition requires two participants working as one—one can only use their left hand, while the other is restricted to their right—to make the best latte art. The registration fee costs P500/pair and can be paid by scanning the QR code.
Kape't Kamay Brewdown

When: October 11; the event starts at 2 p.m.
Where: KapeCon Lounge
The same rules apply for the Kape't Kamay Brewdown—one participant can only use their left hand, while the other participant is restricted to their right. As of writing, all slots for this competition have been taken, but you can still watch the chaotic teamwork unfold.
