Book & Cook
The Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street branch is a haven for readers, spanning five storeys of fully stocked shelves where visitors can browse and pick up their next read.
Tucked on the third level is a newly opened retreat for literary enthusiasts. Opened in March 2026, Book & Cook offers a warm dining space featuring dishes by Michelin-trained French chef Edouard Guillaud-Rollin. Guests can browse books and advanced reading copies while enjoying a curated menu of coffee, tea, and meals. Must-try items on the menu include Beef Stroganoff Rice, Triple Chocolate Pie inspired by French pastry chef Dominique Ansel, spinach and artichoke melts, and a selection of artisan pasta.

Gourmet’s Cafe by Gourmet Farms
Just a stone’s throw away from the Laureate Library and Museum in Malate is Gourmet’s Cafe, located within the Ramon Magsaysay Center complex.
Formerly known as The Library Café, the tranquil space serves specialty coffee alongside comforting dishes made with ingredients from Gourmet Farms in Silang, Cavite. It's particularly known for pour-over brews using beans such as Kapeng Barako, as well as blends with caramel and floral notes. Crowd favorites include the Spanish Latte and Mochaccino.
The café is divided into a breezy outdoor terrace, a main dining section, and a designated quiet library zone. Access to the latter requires a P50 fee, while students may enjoy a 10% discount upon presenting a valid ID.

Common Room Makati
Common Room PH is a well-loved creative hub that houses a selection of zines, handmade goods, stickers, and art materials by independent Filipino makers.
At its Atrium of Makati location, the space expands into a café, workshop venue, and community library. Also called the “Mess Studio,” it functions as a third space for creatives, designed for hosting workshops, studying, or settling in with a book.
An in-house mini café, in collaboration with Convenience Coffeehouse, serves specialty beverages such as banana nut lattes. The area also includes a free library lounge and a small bookshop curated with zines and titles from local publishers.

Book Club Coffee
A hidden gem found along Pioneer Street in Mandaluyong, Book Club Coffee offers a quiet retreat from the commercial district’s hustle and bustle.
Visitors can browse a generous selection of classics, bestsellers, and design books while dining. The café provides tasseled bookmarks, allowing regulars to return to their reading on future visits.
On the menu, signature beverages include the Spanish Latte, Caramel Einspänner, Tiramisu Einspänner, and the Uji Oatmatcha series.

Same But Different (SBD) is a “tiny-intentional” neighborhood café that places a strong focus on community and creative expression. Its quaint atmosphere makes it especially appealing for reading, studying, or engaging in thoughtful conversation away from digital distractions.
Shelves are lined with books alongside other materials that encourage guests to step away from their devices and engage more fully with their surroundings.
The café also hosts a range of community-led activities, from tarot readings and flower arrangement classes to cake painting workshops.
