Ramen Ron and Pilya's Kitchen Bring You Mapo Tofu Ramen—for One Month Only

(SPOT.ph) As if you haven't gotten enough of the Top 10 ramen list (entirely shoyu, but 10 is still a lot of ramen), our seventh placer Ramen Ron has a few more rainy-day surprises up its sleeve, in collaboration with The Grid favorite, Pilya's Kitchen.
Two noodle nobles will share a short lineup from August 5 to 31, consisting of Mapo Tofu Ramen (P690), Mala Gyoza (P370), and for the first two days only, the Dry Dan Dan Biang Biang Noodles (P690). "This [menu] is a celebration of two kitchens brought together by a shared love for noodles and craftsmanship," says Chef Kriza Palmero, founder of Pilya's Kitchen.

The Mapo Tofu Ramen is a rich yet fiery combination of Ramen Ron's silky shoyu broth and the Mapo Biang from Pilya's Kitchen, showcasing not only comforting stewy goodness, but also a heat that builds with each bite. Those with a lower spice tolerance may want to proceed with caution, but hot pepper honchos can guzzle to their hearts' content.
The Mala Gyoza is exactly as good as you're thinking; Ramen Ron's pan-fried dumplings get hit with Pilya's Sichuan sauce for a flavor bomb you won't soon forget. (Pro tip: A dash of black vinegar doesn't hurt.)
But on August 5 and 6—and exclusively at the BGC branch of Ramen Ron—you can also get the delicious collision of Pilya's Kitchen's signature hand-pulled noodles and Ramen Ron's own take on dan dan sauce with all the spicy sesame goodness. It might be the best thing in the lineup, and there are only 30 servings of each item per day—so you'd better hurry.
