’80s and ’90s Kids: Serg’s Chocolates Confirms Its 2026 Comeback Plans
You know it’s Serg’s Chocolates by the iconic pinstripe wrapper.
(SPOT.ph) When news of Serg’s comeback broke in 2019, it felt like a small part of every ’80s and ’90s kid healed. But the timeline kept slipping as one obstacle followed another: COVID-19 halted plans, the 2024 Carina floods damaged Serg’s warehouse and the machinery meant for its small-batch setup, and other uncertainties forced multiple pivots.
Now, after holding on to that hope for more than six years, Serg’s is finally set to return in 2026.

In a Facebook post, Serg’s Chocolates announced its plan to return this year, noting that the relaunch will begin on a small, intentional scale with Serg’s Chocolate Bars —hopefully with the same iconic pinstrip wrapper—on Cordillera Street in Quezon City, where the brand was founded in 1954. The company said it will begin sharing its plans and progress publicly starting in the first quarter of 2026, citing transparency and accountability as it works toward a full return.

Serg’s also appealed for public support as it works toward a full comeback. “We may also ask for your help along the way—so we can bring Serg’s back together and keep Serg’s Chocolates as a Filipino family legacy that will stay for generations to come,” the company said. It encouraged supporters to follow and share its official Facebook page, Sergs Brands, and Instagram account, Sergs Chocolates, and to pass along stories of the brand to a younger generation.
If plans stay on track, Serg’s said it is aiming for a bigger return by the third quarter of 2026.
