Maria Makiling

Where: Samsung Performing Arts Theater, Circuit Makati

Step into the mystical forests of Laguna with Maria Makiling, a full-length ballet adaptation of the beloved Philippine legend. Choreographed by Ronilo Jaynario with original music by Paulo Zarate, this enchanting production tells the story of a diwata who watches over Mt. Makiling and its people.

This limited-run stars Gabby Jaynario and Jessa Tangalin as Maria Makiling, with Matthew Davo and Justine Orande alternating as Juan.

Dagitab

Show Dates: July 5 to 6 and July 12 to 13
Where: Fine Arts Black Box, Old Communications Building, Ateneo de Manila University

Sc: Scene Change's two-weekend run of Dagitab follows the marriage of Issey and Jimmy, two professors on the brink of separation after more than 20 years together. This stage production is based on the 2014 Cinemalaya flick Dagitab (Sparks), and was adapted and directed for by multi-awarded playwright, Guelan Luarca.

This adaptation stars Agot Isidro and Jojit Lorenzo as Issey and Jimmy, alongside Elijah Canlas, Benedix Ramos, and Samantha Samarita who complete the cast of this play about longing and connection.

Burn the Floor

After electrifying audiences in over 180 cities across 30 countries, the Broadway and West End hit Burn the Floor finally hits Manila.

Joseph the Dreamer

Joseph the Dreamer returns to the stage this July for a limited run, bringing its timeless message of faith, forgiveness, and hope to a new generation. Based on the beloved biblical story, the musical follows Joseph, a young dreamer betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery, on an extraordinary journey from pit to palace. As trials test his faith, one dream sets into motion a divine plan that changes everything.

Catch multi-hyphenate Sam Concepcion and young blood Jordan Andrews as they step into the role of Joseph alongside Gary Valenciano as Jacob, Julia Serad and Aicelle Santos as Rachel, and Carlo Orosa as Pharaoh for this Trumpets production this July.

Show Dates: July 26 to August 17
Where: Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater

Set in 1930s America, SIDE SHOW: THE MUSICAL is a fictional depiction of the life and times of real-life conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton, who found fame and notoriety in the vaudeville circuit in the 1920s and 1930s.

It stars Jon Santos as The Boss, Tanya Manalang and Molly Langley alternating as Violet Hilton, Marynor Madamesila and Krystal Kane as Daisy Hilton, and Reb Atadero and CJ Navato as Daisy's love interest, Terry Conor, and Vien King and Tim Pavino as Violet's love interest, Buddy Forster.

Concert organizer Ovation Productions announced on June 28 that the duo's July 8 show at the New Frontier Theater has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Century Tuna Presents Park Seo Joon

Fans of South Korean actor Park Seo Joon will be happy to know is coming over to Manila for a fan meeting hosted by Century Tuna. Expect some special segments on top of the usual songs and dance performances! Anybody can purchase tickets to the show, and you can even bring home Century Tuna freebies.

Where: SM Mall of Asia Arena

Babyface is hitting Manila with his Greatest Hits Concert. Tracks like "When Can I See You," "Wonderful Tonight," and "Never Keeping Secrets" are expected to get the live treatment. There's also "Every Time I Close My Eyes" which features Kenny G...and we're not saying the saxophonist will make a surprise appearance, but we're really hoping he does. Kenny G has a show in Manila the day after, so we're dreaming up the ways this can happen.

Kenny G

Where: New Frontier Theater

Saxophonist Kenny G is ready to serenade the Manila crowd for his stop at the New Frontier Theater. Now we know we said we're hoping for a surprise babyface collab, and we don't mind it happening at Kenny's show. And hey, even if it doesn't happen, the vibes will be just as immaculate once the saxophonist starts hitting those notes.

Where: The Filinvest Tent, Alabang

American singer-songwriter Faye Webster to Manila on July 21, courtesy of KARPOS Live. It's her first time in the Philippines, and we just know her fans are excited to finally hear her music live. New to work? Give jazzy "Kingston" a listen, along with "I Know You," "In A Good Way," and "Right Side Side of My Neck" which all showcase her soft, unique vocals and sincere lyrics.

Contemporary worship music band Planetshakers is taking the stage for not one, not two, but a whopping five nights of concerts at the SM Mall of Asia from July 23 to 27 for their Abundance Tour. Filipino fans, get ready to sing along to "Good Day," "Miracle Worker," and "Jesus Forever" live, along with "Wash Over Me," "Delight," "Praise On It," and "You Have My Heart."

My First Story
When: July 24, 2025
Where: New Frontier Theater

Vocalist Hiroki Moriuchi, guitarist Teruki Nishizawa, bassist Nobuaki Katō, and drummer Shōhei Sasaki of Japanese rock band My First Story are coming to Manila this July. You might know them best for "MUGEN" and "Tokoshie" a.k.a the opening and closing themes of Season 4 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, but their tracks "1,000,000 TIMES" and "REVIVER" also merit a listen.

EXO-Ls, another member is stopping to treat you to a unique show you shouldn't miss. The group's seasoned dancer, Kai, is coming to Manila for a one-night-only show and we expect nothing less than fans to come over, over, over. "Mmmh," "Rover," and "Peaches" hit platinum in our bedrooms and fans can expect killer dance performances to match.

Girls' Generation member Tiffany Young is dropping by in 2025 for her Fan Concert Tour in Manila. Unlike most concerts where you get mostly vocal and dance performances from the artist's discography, a fan meet usually has more in store for fans to spend time with their faves and get to know them better. We're counting on hearing "Runaway" and "Lips On" live, but we're also hoping for some "I Just Wanna Dance" appreciation.
