10 Most In-Demand Jobs in the Philippines Right Now
These fields are hiring fast.
Published on Jun 5, 2025
(SPOT.ph) Fresh grads,
career shifters, and job hunters—if you’re wondering where the opportunities
are this year, Jobstreet just dropped the latest list of the most in-demand
jobs in the Philippines for the first half of 2025.
According to the report, accounting is now the most in-demand
job specialization, making up 11.81% of total postings on Jobstreet's platform. It’s not that everyone suddenly
wants to hire accountants; it’s just that there just aren’t enough of them. This shortage is only expected to grow as enrollment in accounting-related courses continues to shrink and more
graduates shift to roles in finance, tech, and freelancing, leaving traditional
accounting firms struggling to fill positions.
Trailing close behind are
Information & Communication Technology (11.14%) and Sales (10.10%).
Aside from Accounting, Sales and
Marketing roles have seen the biggest jump in job openings over the last three
months. What's causing this? For one, the economy is on the upswing, with GDP expected to grow from 5.4% in
Q1 to 6.2% in Q2, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). This means businesses are expanding—and they need more people to do the work.
