Here Are the Philippines’ Highest Paying Jobs, According to the PSA
A look into who's earning what in 2022.
(SPOT.ph) Who earns the most here in the Philippines? Turns out, the sky is indeed the limit: Aircraft pilots were the highest paid in the country in 2022, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) which recently released the 2022 Occupational Wages Survey (OWS) showing the nation's highest paid workers.
Aircraft pilots and related professionals in the air transport industry earn an impressive P135,363 per month, putting them at the top of the list of highest-paying occupations. That's more than seven times the minimum wage in 2022, which stands at P18,423.

Top 10 highest paying jobs in the Philippines in 2022
These are the top-paying occupations in the country, according to PSA's data in 2022:
- Aircraft pilots and related associate professionals – P135,363
- Software developers – P70,595
- Mathematicians and actuaries – P69,654
- Production supervisors and general foremen – P63,017
- Applications programmers – P58,643
- Specialist medical practitioners – P57,476
- Statisticians – P51,607
- Generalist medical practitioners – P51,251
- Geologists – P49,059
- Accountants and auditors – P48,982
Top three industries in the Philippines in 2022
For accounting and bookkeeping clerks
- Information and communications – P30,731
- Electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply – P30,676
- Professional, scientific, and technical activities – P25,443
For elementary occupations
- Electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply – P20,771
- Mining and quarrying – P14,634
- Other service activities – P13,579
What about the more common roles?
Aside the top earners, the PSA also shed light on the salary among benchmark occupations. These are roles common across establishments, often at the wage scale's lower end. For instance, accounting and bookkeeping clerks earn P19,676, while unskilled workers earn P12,276 each month in the Philippines.
Female time-rated workers also earn more than the other sex, with a median monthly pay of P14,916 compared to the P14,413 for male.
