For men who are sure they don't want children—or don't want more children—a vasectomy is something you can consider to lessen the burden of contraception on your partner (she will thank you).

At Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital, the cost of a vasectomy is P1,200 without an anesthesiologist and P2,600 with one. Private hospitals can easily cost more, especially once consultation fees, doctors’ fees, medicines, laboratory work, and follow-up tests are included.

Luckily for you, there are a few options to get a free vasectomy in Metro Manila.

DKT Philippines Foundation is a good page to follow if you are trying to catch the next free NSV schedule. Unlike a clinic with one fixed address, DKT usually works through partner clinics, local government units (LGUs), and health facilities, so its free NSV activities can move from one area to another depending on the schedule.

That said, the date, location, number of slots, and requirements may change depending on which clinic DKT is working with at the time. For example, free NSV activities are lined up in Valenzuela City, Cavite, Tarlac, Laguna, Pampanga, and Oriental Mindoro for June.

One Ohana Medical Clinic in San Juan City is offering free vasectomy services starting June 2025, with 2,800 slots available.

The service is open to everyone, regardless of where they live. Appointments are available from Monday to Friday starting at 5 p.m., while Saturday, Sunday, and holiday schedules start at 8:30 a.m.

Each appointment takes around 30 minutes, with the procedure itself expected to take less than that. Patients who need to reschedule may do so up to 5 days before their appointment.

The Cooperative Movement for Encouraging NSV (CMEN) is a great lead for men looking into NSV.

Since CMEN is focused specifically on NSV, this may be a useful option for those who want to ask detailed questions about the procedure before booking. Just make sure to confirm the available dates, eligibility requirements, and whether the service is still free before going.
