MariBank Users Can Now Make 50 Free Money Transfers Every Month

(SPOT.ph) Moving money around is about to get a little more flexible for MariBank users. Starting June 1, users will get 50 free InstaPay and PESONet transfers every month.

What's more, users will now receive all free transfers at the start of the month rather than waiting for a weekly reset. This could be helpful for those who need to make several transfers in one go, such as small businesses, merchants, or anyone who regularly moves money between accounts.

MariBank charges P15 for InstaPay and PESONet transfers beyond the free limit. With 50 free transfers a month, users could save up to P750 in fees.

MariBank’s new setup gives users more freedom and flexibility, but not necessarily more free transfers. As mentioned earlier, users will receive it all 50 up front rather than waiting for their free transfers to reset each week. This update is most convenient for those who tend to reach their weekly caps.

But the total is actually lower than before: the previous setup gave users up to 60 free transfers a month, which are capped at 15 transfers a week. That means users who regularly maximize the perk will have 10 fewer free transfers to use.

Even with the reduction, though, MariBank still offers more free transfers than many other digital banks. Some don't provide free InstaPay or PESONet transfers at all, while the closest comparison is GoTyme, which only gives users 20 free InstaPay transfers monthly.

If you have not heard of MariBank yet, you may know it by its old name: SeaBank Philippines. The digital bank rebranded as MariBank Philippines in 2025 after becoming part of the MariBank Singapore banking group. Both are under Sea Limited, the company behind Shopee.
