GoTyme Bank Users Can Now Make 20 Free Money Transfers Every Month

fees have long been one of those small but annoying costs that add up over time. But starting September 3, GoTyme Bank is giving customers free transfers to any local bank each month.
The perk applies to your first 20 transfers monthly via InstaPay until further notice, with no minimum amount required. That means whether
you’re paying back a friend for food, moving cash to a different account, or
sending allowance to family, you don't have to worry about fees.
To put the savings in perspective, if you normally pay P15 per transfer, 20 transactions would cost you P300 per month or P3,600 per year. That’s now money that stays in your pocket.
What happens once you've used up the 20 free transfers at GoTyme Bank?
Once you've used up the 20 free transfers, each additional InstaPay transaction costs P9—still cheaper than most banks and e-wallets, which typically charge between P10 and P25 per transfer. You can even choose to pay that P9 fee with Go Rewards points, which you earn through everyday app use like buying load, paying bills, or even riding the MRT.
InstaPay is the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) electronic fund transfer service that lets you move money instantly between different banks and e-wallets.

The new deal is also a big step up from GoTyme’s old setup. Previously, customers only got three free transfers per week—or alternated under a “pay one, get one free” promo—before being charged P8 per extra transaction. The new deal is more generous, even if the additional fee nudged up slightly to P9.
Meanwhile, transfers between GoTyme Bank accounts remain completely free with no limit. If you’re sending to someone who hasn’t signed up yet, the app’s “Send & Refer” lets you transfer using just their phone number—the money goes through as soon as they create an account within seven days.
