GoTyme Bank Accepts International SIMs From 170+ Countries
With three free weekly transfers to other banks.
(SPOT.ph) Physical remittance services are becoming a thing of the past as more online payment options become available. For Filipinos scattered across the world, managing financial affairs back home is now more convenient with GoTyme’s newest feature.
Its International Accounts feature allows Filipinos living in over 170 countries to open a savings account with international SIM and enjoy a 4% per annum interest rate with no cap. This includes unlimited free transfers between GoTyme accounts and three free weekly transfers to other banks.
The service will allow Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and travelers to send more money to families and friends back home, pay bills on time, and buy load credit with just a few taps on the phone.
GoTyme Bank has also added over 40 billers to its roster. In addition to the usual billers like Meralco, Maynilad, and government services like SSS, Pag-IBIG, and NBI, it will now include direct payments for MMDA traffic violations and RFID toll fees, among others.

Other new features to expect from GoTyme Bank
Starting August, small business owners and freelancers who regularly receive physical checks can also take advantage of the new Mobile Check Deposit feature, allowing deposits up to P499,999.99 even outside of banking hours.
This service offers a real-time processing option that eliminates the need to visit a bank branch. It also comes with regular updates on the deposit status.
GoTyme is also the first bank to collaborate with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for the Coin Deposit Machines at selected malls. This initiative allows customers to deposit coins into the machine, the amount of which will then be credited to their GoTyme Bank account.
These new features are part of GoTyme Bank’s efforts to enhance its mobile banking experience as it enters its second year of operations. It is currently the fastest-growing bank in the Philippines, with over 250,000 new customers a month.
Launched in 2022, GoTyme Bank is a collaboration between the Philippines' Gokongwei Group and Singapore's Tyme Group. It is best known for its mobile kiosks that can open a bank account and print a corresponding Visa debit card in less than five minutes.
