RCBC Users Can Now Get 30 Free InstaPay Transfers Every Month

(SPOT.ph) If you've ever hesitated before hitting "send" because of that extra transfer fee, here's some good news: RCBC is removing InstaPay fees—at least for most of the ones you'll probably make in a month.

Starting July 4, 2026, RCBC customers using the RCBC Pulz app can send money to other local banks via InstaPay without paying transfer fees. There is a catch, though: it's only free for the first 30 InstaPay transfers every month and every transaction should be worth at least P100.

That means customers who use all 30 free transfers can save up to P300 a month. Prior to this, RCBC charged P10 per InstaPay transfer through RCBC Pulz, which is down from its regular P25 rate under a promo that runs from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027.

The move makes RCBC the latest bank to make it less painful to move your money around.

Most recently, BPI made InstaPay and PESONet transfers to other banks and e-wallets permanently free starting July 1, 2026, covering transfers made through the BPI app, online banking, VYBE, BanKo, and BizKo. Metrobank also lowered its InstaPay fee to P8 per transaction starting February 1, 2026.

Digital banks are doing it, too. MariBank gives users up to 50 free InstaPay and PESONet transfers to other banks and e-wallets every month, with a P15 processing fee for each additional transfer. Meanwhile, GoTyme Bank offers 20 free InstaPay transfers to other banks or e-wallets each month, with a P9 fee once the free-transfer quota is reached.

Do note that InstaPay's existing limits still apply when using RCBC, with transfers capped at P50,000 per transaction.
