Expect the highest returns since the pandemic era.

(SPOT.ph) Here's some good news to add to the payday bliss: Pag-IBIG members can expect a bigger payout this year. The Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) has just increased its dividend rates for 2025.
The Regular Savings program will earn a 6.62% annual dividend rate, while the MP2 Savings program is at 7.12%—both slightly higher than last year’s 6.6% and 7.1%, respectively. These are among the strongest returns the agency has posted in recent years.

The higher dividend rates come after Pag-IBIG posted a net income of P65.28 billion in 2025. By law, at least 70% of this income is allocated as dividends, which means Pag-IBIG members will see higher earnings depending on how much they have saved.
Notably, these rates remain more competitive than most traditional bank savings accounts. If you don’t have one yet but want to start, here’s how.

What is the Pag-IBIG MP2 Savings Program?
The MP2 Savings Program is a voluntary savings platform that has a five-year maturity for Pag-IBIG members. It’s separate from the regular savings program of Pag-IBIG where monthly contributions are auto-deducted from employee salaries. This means that Pag-IBIG members who want to save through the MP2 Savings Program need to enroll in the Pag-IBIG Fund separately.
Other key features of the Pag-IBIG MP2 Savings Program include the following:
You can save for a minimum of P500 per month.
There is no limit to how much you want to save.
You can open and maintain multiple MP2 savings accounts.
Your MP2 savings earn higher annual dividends compared to your regular savings program with Pag-IBIG.
Your dividends are tax-free whether you choose to withdraw annually or after the five-year maturity period.
Your MP2 savings are government-guaranteed.
You can view your MP2 Savings online, via Virtual Pag-IBIG.
You can enroll online by visiting the MP2 Enrollment page. You can also visit your nearest Pag-IBIG branch and submit your completed MP2 Savings application form.
