Indonesian sunscreen brand Carasun is here in the Philippines.
ICYDK, Carasun was introduced to the Philippines last December and can be found at Watsons. The beauty and skincare brand is known for its sun protection products made for people living in tropical countries, a.k.a places with intense sun and humidity. A little trivia, too: their brand name is a combination of sun and care.

Thanks to the weather (and pollution) we have in the country, our skin requires specific needs, all of which Carasun promises to address through their products. First on the list is the Carasun Solar Smart UV Pro SPF45++++, which has 97.8% UVB protection. It doesn't feel sticky or heavy on your face, thanks to the Cloudlike texture that makes the product "light as a cloud." For that matte, shine-free finish, there's the Healthy Matte UV Protector 30ml. Good job on applying your sunscreen! The next thing to remember is to reapply it. The rule of thumb is every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating. If you're mostly going to be indoors throughout the day, reapplication is probably going to be less frequent; around four to six hours is good enough.
